Home and Social Distance

As Covid-19 has been widely spread, people do the social distance voluntarily and forcibly. As a result, people think that they are just the same as the animals in the zoo.

By restricting to go the public places, the time that people stay in their home has risen.

 

Actually, our home is the place where we can feel comfortable and cozy. However, people have begun to think of their home as a cage and fetters which limit our life radius. We are not used to being forced to stay at home. It was our choice. On the contrary, for the zoo animals, their cages are their home and the place where be locked up at the same time.

 

I tried to express the emotion that we feel these days in our homes through the eyes of zoo animals. We can see sadness, loneliness, peace, comfort, and many feelings. I wish that people can remind the importance of freedom by this project.
